Who Are Classroom Adventures?

History They’ll Remember

Classroom Adventures exists to answer one simple question:

“How do we make the learning stick?”

We deliver immersive, curriculum-linked history experiences for primary schools that turn abstract topics into something pupils can see, touch and understand.

Instead of just reading about the past, children step into it — handling replica artefacts, playing historical games, taking part in practical activities and asking the questions that textbooks don’t always invite.

Why book Classroom Adventures?

Because children learn best when they’re excited, curious and involved.

Our sessions:

  • Support the National Curriculum

  • Reinforce classroom learning through experience

  • Improve engagement, recall and understanding

  • Work for a wide range of abilities and learning styles

Teachers regularly tell us that pupils are still talking about our visits weeks later — and that the learning carries directly back into their written work.

What do schools get?

  • A fully planned, professionally delivered experience day

  • Clear learning objectives and curriculum links

  • Activities that require minimal teacher preparation

  • Confident, DBS-checked presenters experienced with schools

  • Flexible sessions that work across year groups and class sizes

We handle the organisation, resources and delivery — so staff can focus on supporting pupils and enjoying the day alongside them.

What do pupils get?

  • A chance to see and handle real-feeling objects, not just see pictures

  • Learning that feels like an adventure, not a lesson

  • Opportunities to ask questions, explore and experiment

  • Confidence to talk about history in their own words

For many children, our sessions are the first time history feels real and relatable — something that involved people just like them.

Our philosophy

We don’t believe in just talking at children.

We believe in:

  • Learning through doing

  • Asking good questions

  • Making space for curiosity and play

  • Treating young people as capable historians

Everything we deliver is designed to be inclusive, engaging and memorable, while staying true to the past.
